Who is This Treatment For?

This is a highly versatile treatment because it addresses

several common concerns at once:

The Product Overuser: Clients who frequently use dry shampoo, heavy styling products, silicones, or hairsprays. Standard shampoo leaves a layer of film behind; this treatment completely strips away that dulling buildup.

The Problem Scalp: Anyone struggling with a scalp that is chronically too dry and flaky (dandruff/scaling) or too oily (hyper-seborrhea). It rebalances sebum (oil) production.

The Thinning/Aging Hair Client: Clients noticing early thinning, sluggish hair growth, or a lack of volume.

The City Dweller: People exposed to high environmental pollution, smoke, and hard water.

The Protocol: Scalp Detoxing Facial

A 7-step clinical-meets-luxury facial designed exclusively for your scalp. From thermal steaming and phototherapy to a vital superfood infusion, this treatment purges impurities and floods the roots with nutrition, finishing with a signature blowout.

Duration: 75 Minutes

Step 1: The Purifying Cleanse

The ritual begins with a curated, staff-picked professional shampoo tailored precisely to your hair type and scalp condition. This removes surface debris and preps the tissue for treatment.

Step 2: Resurfacing & Thermal Steam

An advanced exfoliation treatment is applied to loosen stubborn follicular scaling, product buildup, and dead skin cells. This is enhanced by targeted hot steam, which opens the pores, softens the stratum corneum, and stimulates microcirculation.

Step 3: Customized Nourishing Mask

A bespoke, nutrient-dense scalp mask is applied to deeply condition, soothe, and rebalance the skin. While the mask infuses, the active ingredients work to repair the scalp’s moisture barrier at a cellular level. This is paired with specialized Light Therapy (LED) to reduce inflammation, destroy acne- or dandruff-causing bacteria, and stimulate cellular ATP to wake up dormant hair follicles.

Step 4: Cellular Infusion & Phototherapy

A highly concentrated, nourishing scalp serum is applied and driven deep into the dermal layers.

Step 5: The Relaxation Ritual & Hot Towel

Experience deep stress relief with a signature scalp massage paired with a comforting hot towel wrap. This step seals in the hydration from the mask and serum while maximizing blood flow to the hair roots.

Step 6: Superfood Vitality Boost

A final, lightweight Superfood Serum packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and peptides is applied to protect the scalp from environmental stressors and pollution. This is worked into the skin with a final, invigorating micro-massage.

Step 7: The Couture Blow-Dry

The treatment concludes with a professional blowout, leaving your scalp feeling completely weightless and refreshed, and your hair looking phenomenally bouncy, glossy, and revitalized.

Recommended Frequency Guidelines

1. The Initial "Correction" Phase (For Problem Scalps)

Frequency: Every 2 to 3 weeks (for a series of 3–4 sessions).

Who it’s for: Clients dealing with severe product buildup, excessive oiliness (hyper-seborrhea), chronic dry flakes, or those actively jumpstarting a hair-thinning treatment protocol.

Why: It takes more than one session to thoroughly break down years of hardened follicular scaling and fully rebalance the skin's moisture barrier.

2. The Maintenance Phase (For General Scalp Health)

Frequency: Every 4 to 6 weeks (Monthly).

Who it’s for: The ideal frequency for most clients once their scalp is balanced.

Why: Just like a regular facial, the skin cells on the scalp naturally turn over roughly every 28 days. A monthly visit ensures dead skin cells and daily pollution are cleared out before they can clog the hair follicles again.

3. The Seasonal "Reset"

Frequency: 4 times a year (At the change of every season).

Who it’s for: Clients with relatively healthy scalps who just want a luxurious detox and deep conditioning reset.

Why: Extreme weather shifts affect the scalp drastically—winter causes severe dryness and flaking, while summer increases sweat, sebum, and sunscreen buildup.

Post-Treatment Aftercare Guidelines

Avoid Washing for 24–48 Hours: Let those expensive superfood serums and nourishing active ingredients completely absorb into the scalp. Advise them not to wash their hair or get it wet until at least the next day.

Skip the Dry Shampoo & Styling Products: Encourage them to keep the scalp "breathing" for the first 24 to 48 hours. Heavy clays, waxes, hairsprays, or dry shampoos will immediately re-clog the freshly cleared follicles.

Hold Off on Chemical Hair Color: It is best to wait at least 3 to 5 days after this treatment before getting their hair colored or chemically relaxed. Because the scalp has been deeply exfoliated, the strong chemicals in hair dye might cause temporary tingling or irritation.

Sun Protection: Since the scalp has received a deep clinical exfoliation, the fresh skin can be slightly more sensitive to the sun for the first 24 hours. If they are going to be in direct, intense sunlight immediately after, a loose hat is recommended.

Testimonials

Jasmine Richards

I am a total dry shampoo addict, and my scalp has been feeling so heavy, itchy, and congested lately. I booked the Scalp Detoxing Facial at My Beauty Secrets Spa and oh my gosh, it was incredible. The thermal steam and exfoliation felt amazing, but the highlight was the light therapy and that final superfood serum massage. My scalp feels like it can finally breathe, and my hair hasn't had this much natural volume in years. 10/10 recommend!

Monica Chandler

This is not just a hair wash—it’s a full clinical-meets-luxury experience. The headspa room is so serene, and the half-moon water shower during the mask step was pure heaven. The staff picked out a customized shampoo for my dry scalp, and the combination of the hot towels, LED light therapy, and massage completely melted my stress away. Plus, you get a professional blow dry at the end so you walk out looking flawless. I’ve already booked my next monthly session.
